1. Do I need art experience to participate in any of the classes at CREATE Artisan Studio?
No experience necessary! All you need is an open mind and the willingness to let go of that inner voice that whispers "I can't do that". We offer a wide range of classes to help you find your creative outlet. There is NEVER any pressure to reach perfection at CREATE. Creativity should lift your spirits up and your stress away.
2. Will I get messy?
Maybe, remember creativity is messy! If you are taking a painting class don't wear anything you don't want paint on.
3. Do I need to register?
Registering for a class is easy to do online or by phone, as classes quickly fill, it ensures you a spot to create.
4. Can I purchase any of the items which the classes are based?
YES! Many of the items which classes are based on can be purchased, many with a personalization option. That is the beauty of handmade. You can create almost anything!
5. I can't take the class but would love to make the project. Are there kits available?
Yes. If there is anytime you see a project you would love to do at home or during open studio, but don't need instruction, you can purchase the materials directly from CREATE.
6. Can I bring my daughter/son to a class with me?
Children at least 10 yrs of age and accompanied by an adult are welcome to join in. Our classes are not limited to adults and are a great way for parent and child to connect through art. During private events, projects to keep the little ones busy while you are creating are available for an additional fee.
7. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the first class meeting will be refunded or, at the participant's option, used to pay for another class. Create Artisan Studio will retain a $10 processing fee for EACH class cancelled by a participant. After 14 days, there is no refund or credit. In addition, the fee for a class cancelled within this 14-day timeframe by a participant cannot be transferred to pay for another class. These policies are to ensure that teachers are compensated for their investment in materials and in time spent preparing for the class. We reserve the right to cancel a class if fewer than 3 students enroll 48 hours prior to the scheduled class time. If for any reason Create Artisan Studio cancels a class, students will be emailed and phoned (if provided) and refunded the FULL class fee.
8. How long do special orders take?
Special orders can take up to 3 weeks, unless we have discussed a specific due date. Items needed within a 3 day time frame are subject to additional RUSH order charges. Each project is estimated on a case by case basis.
